This website currently serves Davis Primary and Richmond Intermediate schools. Beginning with the 2024-2025 school year, Davis and Richmond will transition to K-5 schools. New elementary websites for Davis Elementary School and Richmond Elementary School will launch in June. Information about Davis Primary and Richmond Intermediate will remain on this website through the duration of the current school year that ends on May 30.
Our goal is to provide students and staff with quality resources and literature in order to enhance curriculum, to provide relevant and current resources for easy access, and to build passion and joy for literacy in order to create life long readers.
Checking Out Books
The library is designed to be open and responsive to the needs and interests of students and staff. Children are welcome to exchange books and browse throughout the school day. Students may check out up to four books at a time. The loan period for materials is one week; students may renew books. Notices are sent as a reminder to return any books that are overdue. If your child loses or damages a book, he or she should inform the LRC staff so the book can be marked lost or damaged in our circulation system. We do not assess fines for overdue, lost, or damaged books.
Technology
The LRC has an automated circulation system and has two library catalog computers. Each student has a Chromebook checked out to them to use throughout the year. In addition, classes have access to iPads, LCD projectors, Ladibugs, and iPad minis.
