An In-Depth Overview of Davis Richmond School - January 14, 2014
The Davis Richmond Steering Committee has been charged to develop a school improvement plan, or SIP, to improve academic achievement at the schools. The SIP needs to address the specific academic areas in which the school's performance has been deficient. It also needs to adopt policies and practices that will have the greatest likelihood of ensuring that all subgroups enrolled in the school will meet the State's proficient level of achievement. To effectively meet the goals of this charge, the Steering Committee needs the help of everyone connected with our schools. The purpose of these meetings is to provide information and gather the opinions and ideas of the Davis Richmond Community to assist in the development of the School Improvement Plan.
The first Davis Richmond Engagement meeting develops an understanding of the Davis Richmond school community and highlights the many opportunities available to our students. It also provides a look at three specific subgroups in which school improvement efforts will be considered. Meeting materials will be added as they become available after the meeting. Links to the meeting materials and subsequent documentation are below.
